Positon PHP Applications Support Engineer

Descriptions • Act as Level 2 support to all applications/ websites of the company

• Identify problems and troubleshoot escalated issues

• Escalate the problem encountered to respective group with respective applications

• Provides reports on a daily basis regarding production issues encountered

• Provides help to Level 1 support in identifying production issues and able to solve those issues

• Creates tools that can help troubleshoot issues on staging/ production environment

• Provides solutions and suggestions to production issues encountered

• Manage and track pending issues for resolution and make follow-up to respective teams

• Validate solution applied to issues encountered in the production

• Documents and publishes solutions to prevent future occurrences of issues

• Provides suggestions to make products much more manageable and reliable

• Defines and sets up managing monitoring solutions 
Requirements • Experience with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack

• Must possess debugging and trouble-shooting techniques

• Experience with version control software such as Subversion

• Flexible in working independently and collectively in a team environment with the ability to work
across multiple disciplines to achieve great results

• Knowledge of web front-end development, including HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, browser capability and accessibility requirements

• Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status

• Willing to work on a shifting schedule (US time)

• Good English communication skills
